Bar Mori, Bellavista.
I accidentally discovered it when I went to see Kali Mutsa, this extraordinary musical personality played by Celine Reymond. It’s big, “specialized in high-end Italian food” according to the website, and has a cozy atmosphere.
Actually, I only took an exotic drink there (let’s admit that I have a weakness for Rum-Coke) and didn’t eat anything, however, what I liked most was the atmosphere and on the second floor you can even dance.The style is similar to the Catedral Bar, customers are young professionals with salaries high enough to “eat out” once a week and pay $3.500 CLP (minimum) for each drink that is not beer.
Service is good and the music is VERY mixed, though always keeping it pleasant. After a few drinks you can go to the second floor where there’s also a bar and dance to the current rhythm. Sometimes there are live bands playing, like when I went to see Kali Mutsa, other nights can be quite tropical, like the popular “Cumbia Naits".
Located in the gastronomic center of the Bellavista neighborhood next to the Teatro Mori Bellavista, with a good atmosphere and as it seems like good food, the Mori Bar might be an interesting option to hang out and dance.
