When I lived near the Francisco Bilbao metro station, Caramagnola Bike&Beer was my spot to go relax, enjoy a pitcher of Kross and eat fantastic pizza.

With a lovely deck, bigger than the actual bar inside, it is perfect for those wonderful spring and summer Santiago nights. They have a wealth of beer on tap, and for the quality of beer, the prices are great. For example, a pitcher of Kross´s Maibock is only $4,900 CLP, a pitcher of Capital´s Indian Pale, $4,700 CLP. If you get there during happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m., all Stella Artois and Kross beers are 20 percent off. Also, with a large bike rack, all who arrive on bike get an additional 10 percent off of their entire check.

And if there´s one thing that goes good with a cold draft beer, it´s a stone pizza. Their pizza is right up there with Tiramisú, I mean, it´s really good.

It´s a fun little place to chill and drink some good beer that I highly recommend, even if you don´t live nearby. It´s literally less than a 10-minute walk from the Bilbao metro, so hop on the blue line and try it for yourself!
