Last week we told you why Bar Loreto is an excellent option for dancing; and today, we´re crossing the street (literally) to tell you about another place that has a good dance scene, Onaciu.
Located right in front of Bar Loreto, this good-vibes place has been entertaining those in Santiago for several years. Starting out with the idea as a restaurant with music, it has ended up as one of the most popular clubs for a night of dancing to live music.
Onaciu no longer serves food, but they do have some chairs, a couple of well-decorated bars and areas that allow for one to sit and chat if not looking to dance. Many national groups preform here, playing all kinds of music, including folk. Always under the premise of dancing, the stage is in a big room with a dance floor and a bar; the other areas are like little living rooms, where you can be comfortable, drink something and rest your feet. The space as a whole is an old house with a lot of style and personality, which they´ve decorated well, and even has a small patio to go out and breath some fresh air if needed.
With live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, as I mentioned earlier, the line-up is quite varied.
So if you want a night of movement and live music, I´m sure you´re going to love Onaciu.
