Las Urracas
I´ve heard both good and bad things about Las Urracas. Never having been there personally, I´ll give you second-hand run down.
Known for being a majorly upscale dance club, it´s the kind of place where you could run into Negro Piñera or soccer players (a.k.a. Chilean gods…). According to a male friend, it´s also the kind of place where all the girls have giant fake boobs and the guys are on the prowl. Needless to say, it could all be a bit vain.
Music wise, it´s pretty normal for a dance club, a mixture of reggaeton, current pop and remixes. Decor wise, it´s swanky and sexy. Price wise, well, it can get a bit pricey. The entrance alone, including a drink, ranges from $7,000 to $10,000 CLP. If you get there early enough, entrance is free, but as we´ve explained several times, if you´re early, you´ll surely be one of the only ones there, and where´s the fun in that?
Location wise, it´s far from any metro stops, up in Vitacura. Buses do pass by though, however, it seems like the kind of place where you should budget for a taxi as well.
