It's hard to explain how things have passed in a chronological order. Probably because I was too young to go to clubs for a long period of its existence, but for sure this one has always been there, with changing settings and names, but it's always been there.
I'm talking about the Centro de Eventos Cerro Bellavista, or the Ex Oz or the Galpón 6, different names for the same place. Now it's officially a center for events, better known as Galpón 6, although I'm always confused as in the same street there is another "Galpón" to dance and hang out, but it seems as that one is number 9. I will find out soon and let you know.
Well, Galpón 6 is big, two floors, bar and stage. Usually people would go there for a special event, such as specific party or dance show, it's only open when an event takes place, but there's almost always something going on!
The first time I went there it was already "Galpón 6" - I never went when it was still Oz, although I knew about its existence as it was the place to be back then - to see a show by Dj Raff, who presented a CD and it seemed the perfect place to me. Adequate for a good number of people and of a nice layout it has become one of my favorite places to see bands and dance along. Last week performed !!! (Chk Chk Chk) and I danced like crazy. Being quite a small place you can hear the music and see the stage form everywhere, there's enough room to move and even sit down on some stairs. The illumination also seems very good to me and the bar in general goes with the basics, size, variety and prices that are standard.
Galpón 6 is one of the favorite places to dance, so if you get to know about a party there, don't hesitate to join in.
