I´ve said it before, and I´ll say it again: One of Santiago´s greatest attributes is its proximity to la playa, the beach!

Here in Chile it is very common to take the children to certain museums. I am in favor of taking them to each one, but I imagine that museums such as the Histórico Domínico or the Decorative Arts museum would be very interesting for the younger ones… or maybe not after all.

There are several museums in Santiago: About pre-Colombian Art, the Fashion Museum, about Fine Arts, Visual Arts, the Human Right’s Museum, etc.

Some time ago, leaving the Lastarria Neighborhood in direction to Merced street, I discovered Planta Maestra, a natural products store which I found to be very simple, though very nicely arranged.
