Picnic Kibun in Fiebre Tagadá
An 18 year old dancer, a tube top and hot pants. Found myself stupified waiting for a lapdance. I wonder how many years could I cum? That's it Keep it cool like ice cream, wait until it gets wet.
That’s more or less how the lyrics of one of the songs by Picnic Kibun go. It is called Drop Your Panties, of the album Fiebre Tagadá. These guys are potent, energetic, fun and quite handsome. Though their work is coming along slowly, as they all have lives outside of the band, they do it, and do it well. They have re-edited there own album and have also made remixes of other bands, such as Ciervos by Astro.
I have had the opportunity to see them in the Club Mist, which no longer exists. They made us dance crazily and unleashed a wave of excitement in the bar, all of the girls screaming, jumping, singing along. It's just that the vocalist, Harvey, has an air about him that is somewhat "sexón" (sexual vibes). He knows it and he likes the attention. Between this energy and the potency of the band, the shows are pure dancing and madness.
The lyrics are not all "cachondas" (sexual songs), and in fact, have a decent amount of deeper meanings. Picnic Kibun likes to be clever, while not being obvious. The vocalist is a mix of North American and Japanese, and the lyrics -underneath the surface- reflect the languages that he speaks.
I would say that, out of all of the danceable Chilean groups, Picnic Kibun is the best.
