A disconnected woman.
Last week it has been published in several digital media sources in Holland that it has been discovered that during the female orgasm the left part of the brain hemisphere gets deactivated. According to neurologist Gert Holstege this is the reason why many women are not able to reach the "peak" in a sexual relationship.
Basically, this means that to have an orgasm it is necessary to "deactivate" the left hemisphere - which is associated to the most logic part of the brain - and "activate" the right part - which is is associated to different kind of information, such as sounds, pictures, smells etc. This allows you to loose yourself in the moment and be carried away by sensations and feelings. It's a fact that it is difficult for many women to disconnect from the "logic" and "practical" world which is an obstacle on the way to the so appreciated orgasm.
Even more than the study - which I found very interesting to read - the comments in the network caught my attention as they revealed a controversy on the question if women are to blame for not being able to lose themselves in the moment or if men simply don't know how to "turn them on".
This made me think about this Chilean thing about "guilt". People are constantly searching for the guilty ones instead of moving on and finding a solution. In the end it doesn't matter if men don't know how to create an atmosphere which enables women to forget everything and leave themselves to be carried away by passion or if women cannot forget about the external world in order to enjoy a good moment. The question of how to reach orgasm stays the same.
I personally think that it is way TOO HARD for women to ignore, we are constantly thinking about something "essentially important", whereas men know better how to enjoy (in a chauvinist country) and they don't remember that women have a harder time to lose control and forget about the world and therefore need more time for stimulation beforehand.
So chauvinists, take a bit more time to chat and relax and women - get lost in pleasure!
