As the cold progresses here in Chile, various concoctions appear so as not to let the weather interfere with our routine or celebrations — generally, there isn´t heat anywhere, and fires are prohibited due to contamination levels.

Proof? Walk around the city and try not to find a place selling completos nearby…oh that and every 25 May is National Completo Day.

Generally, people speak of their childhood remembering games, siblings and unforgettable moments. Well, for me, childhood, especially during the winter season, brings to mind one of the best memories anyone could cherish: having "once" (eleven) with my grandparents.
