Ana Carvajal is a leading choreographer, performer and director who in 2010 presented her work, "Desierto de Mediodía," (Midday Desert) in the Patricio Bunster Space at Matucana 100.

And she's back in 2011 with a contemporary dance experiment, which will be performed in the same space until 25 September.

"Creo Falso" (I Believe Falsely) is a work that explores the game in relation to dance, using movements meant for fun and entertainment. The idea is related to creative discipline, presenting a subject that challenges the rules of known games both by the performers and the general public, such as the popular "Creo Falso," used in the game of hide and seek, when someone confuses one person for another.

The work has four performers who go from game to game based on the chance of a roulette wheel. They develop creative relations based on the precept of a game's enjoyment, and how this emotion modifies the body, their inertia, behaviors and hierarchies, that same game and its sounds taking the performers to other creative, unknown fields of game and dance.

It's quite an interesting and risky idea, especially for those knowledgeable in the world of dance and art; and for delving into bodily relations mixed with creation and recreation.
