During the International Festival Zeppelin ‘11 organized by the Orquesta del Caos and held at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona (CCCB) from 5-10th December, the members of Anilla Cultural Latinoamérica-Europa have been invited to realize a telematic and interactive concert.
Called Ciudades en red (City Network), the concert will be an experiment of improvisation in which will participate well-known musicians from Santiago, Córdoba, Medellín, and Barcelona. Clearly experimental, the concert will be shaped with the help of the internet as a platform for interaction. At the same time will participate from the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo the ensemble ala1RECS&arsomnis with Nicolás Carrasco, Sebastián Jatz and Álvaro Ortega. From Córdoba (Argentina) Gonzalo Biffarella, Gustavo Alcaraz and Julio Catalano will take part. At the Museo of Antioquia of Medellín (Colombia), Gallardo, Miguel Vargas and Manuela Vargas will gather, while at the CCCB the Laptop Ensemble and Roberto Paci Dalò will participate, an Italian artist, musician, theater director and cinematographic director who was awarded the DAAD Prize Berlin.
Anilla Cultural Latinoamérica-Europa is a network founded in 2010 with collaborative and co-creative intentions. It is part of the CCCB, the MAC of the University de Chile, the Museo de Antioquia de Medellín (Colombia), the Centro Cultural de São Paulo and the Centro Cultural de España Córdoba (Argentina). It is supported by the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo and, in the case of Chile, the Fondart.
Apart from the concert, the members of Anilla Cultural will broadcast non-stop during the five days of the Zeppelin 11, including the captures of the sounding landscape from the corresponding environment with its buildings, signals broadcasted through streaming accompanied by other activities that will take place at the CCCB, such as workshops of multifocal specialization and improvisation.
