Anne Paceo Triphase from France
The European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), is a network of international cultural relations institutes among European Union members, and has been working since 2006 to promote areas related to art, language, education and others.
Around 2010, some of the EUNIC partner countries with Chile had the idea to create an event that would spread European jazz throughout our country, generating an exchange between Chilean and European musicians interested in this musical style.
Thus the Festival JAZZ.EU, which premiered last year, will return this year to spread jazz not just to musicians, but for all of those delighting in its rhythms; there will be several concerts held in Santiago bars and jazz clubs.
The festival will be held between 5-9 October, and its program can be seen below; but take note, there will also be workshops with European musicians throughout Wednesday, 5, and Friday, 7. For more information, visit www.projazz.cl or contact eventos@projazz.cl.
