Poster Museos de Medianoche
We have already become used to the so called Museos de Medianoche (Midnight Museums), meaning a Friday night where several museums open at extraordinary hours and at free entrance, in order to make culture and cultural heritage accessible for everybody.
The 25th edition comes with theater performances and telescopes in addition to the regular exhibitions currently running at the participating museums, as the Planetario de Santiago will have telescopes in its garden between 8pm ad 11pm for everybody to enjoy the wonderful sky.
Among the activities and shows this time there will also take place a collective exposition from the best ones of the entire year, managed by the art gallery Galería Die Ecke in the Italia Neighborhood as well as a special exhibition by René Ríos Oettinger, alias Pepo – outstanding figure of the Latin American comic strips - in the gallery Plop!
At the Centro de Extensión de la Universidad Católica it will possible to visit an exhibition from the Northerm American artist Andy Warhol, and at the Museo de la Memoria y Los Derechos Humanos the play “Altazor” by the Chilean poet Vicente Huidobro – that includes acrobats and “air dance” - will be performed.
