In 1997, after 25 years living abroad in the cosmopolitan Madrid, Patricio Court returned to his homeland, moving to the countryside in the Maule Region. He then began to create.
Rustic with dark, earthy colors, Court´s "Hecho en Chile" (Made in Chile) 1997-2007, exhibit is a direct representation of his life and influences upon his return. Court feels that his works are testimony to such a big change in environment, which certainly enriched his craft.

A few years ago, a good friend gave me a book that opened my mind. With the story of Lázaro—a traveler who describes the species he encounters while on an ocean journey in a binnacle style—the book is complete with illustrations and extraordinarily written text.

Back in the day, when we were still communicating through electromechanical transmission centers, a chaotic noise was produced while the connection was being established; and the telephone´s massive popularity, with so many users trying to connect at once, generated a very loud and unpredictable sound. However, now, with our then-unthinkable advances in telecommunications, the sound has disappeared.

Despite all the hustle and bustle, information, instantaneousness and virtual worlds, there are still those focused on material art, the unique detail, "the piece." So, in an effort to rescue analog, to spread arts and entertainment, the "Simbiontes" (symbiont) appears, which is a proposal developed by .DEEW Art Design Lab for The Pik of the Crab, who, since 2007, have been working on "Proyecto Ensamble"(the Ensemble Project).
