CD cover of “Cripta y Vida”, designed by Sebastián Silva himself (La Nana).
One out of the wide range of artists that popped up and became popular during the last couple of years, one of my favorites is Pedro Piedra.
Although it was not so much my own "discovery", but rather an "amatory heritage" (the things which stay from a past relationship), I have started to like this Chilean musician a lot. I can identify with his lyrics, his attitude, his message.
Maybe it's because he comes from this great band of genius' CHC was (Nea Ducci, Sebastián Silva, etc.), or because his songs make fun of everything (even death), it's one of the musicians I have been listening to most recently and it makes me happy realizing that he is given so many opportunities these days to play.
This Thursday, October 27th he will be playing for free on Plaza Mulato Gil (Lastarria neighborhood) along with Fakuta and Hugo Moraga, closing the Corona Clash cycle.
For those of you who don't know him, I would like to introduce him to you by his new video of his latest CD “Cripta y Vida”
