It's in its fifth edition already and this year it turns feminine. The acoustic festival organized by Escuelas de Rock of the Cultural Council and by the University of Valparaíso, "Rock Carnaza", will be staging only women for the first time.
With the subtitle "Pais de Creadores" ("Country of Creators") in 2011 the Carnaza will stage Colombina Parra (vocalist of the 90s band "Ex"), Javiera Mena, Pascuala Ilabaca, Francesca Ancarola and many more.
The festival starts on 16th November 2011 and will last for four days, taking place at the Teatro Municipal of Valparaíso. 25 Chilean singer-songwriters from different styles and generations will perform, six girls per night and as always three at a time performing live on stage.
For those who cannot make it there, the festival will be broadcasted via streaming on the websites of Escuelas de Rock as well as Radio Ritoque of Valparaíso, Puro Chile of La Serena and Galáktica of San Antonio.
