Pearl Jam.
We hope that all had an excellent Fiestas Patrias weekend, that you've survived and that returning to work wasn't so mortifying.
At least it's a short week.
And, what better event to start off the week with–after so much partying and dancing–that to go see a movie? For those still not aware, today, 20 September, they're showing for one time only in Santiago, Cameron Crowe's (Almost Famous, 2000) documentary about Pearl Jam, Twenty. The film will be in all Santiago Hoyts Cinemas, at 8 p.m., with an entrance price of $9,000 CLP. Of course, according to box office success, the chain will look at extending its showing, but for now, it's ONLY TODAY.
For those who remember the 90's with nostalgia and loved strong grunge as adolescents, this seems to be a good event, stopping the festive madness and resuming the work week with the calmness and cinema. Also, this could be a great opportunity to inspire you to go see Pearl Jam in concert this 16 November, 2011 at Estadio Monumental. So, get ready!
