The film festivals in Santiago continue! Similar to the music festival that have spread quite successfully, also film festivals keep surprising the audience with interesting arrangements.

Yesterday, 8th November 2011, the 4th edition of the Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transsexual Film Festival of Chile, was inaugurated at the Centro Cultural de España , organized by the Movimiento Chileno de Minorías sexuales MOVILH (Chilean Movement of Sexual Minorities).

Carried-out since 2008 by MOVILH, this year's edition of the Festival includes more than 20 full-length movies, documentaries and in Chile yet unpublished short movies from 19 countries. There are 5 locations and the duration of the festival will be of 11 days, during which it will be possible to enjoy many free performances. Among others the program includes "Locas mujeres", a Chilean movie directed by Maria Elena Wood about the history of Gabriela Mistral and Doris Dana.

Entrance is free to al performances except at the Centro Arte Alameda, where the entry fee is of $1.900 CLP
