It seems like graphic fiction is getting really popular in Santiago. After several related events the city has hosted this year a very promising fair comes to town: The first International Comic Fair of Santiago (FIC Santiago).

Held at the Centro Chimkowe, the fair’s intention is it to spread the national popular culture, putting an emphasis on Chilean graphic stories and the cultural and commercial manifestations related to it. That’s why it has been organized a competition with categories such as Best Chilean Comic 2011, Best Chilean Cartoonist, 2011, or Best Chilean Scriptwriter 2011, for wich Kobal, is nominated for his work Zombies en la Moneda.
